Agra Metro line

The new metro line includes the development of the Corridor 1 of the Agra Metro Project from Sikandra to Taj East Gate, in the south-east part of the area.

The project consists of a 14,25 km of line and 13 stations with the following features: 6,569 km elevated section; 7,681 km underground section; 6 elevated stations; 7 underground stations (cut & cover type); 1 car maintenance depot.

This ambitious project will connect prominent tourist places including Taj Mahal palace, Agra Fort and Sikandra, improving mobility and life quality for about 2 million of inhabitants.
