Renovation of Villa De Mari

Villa De Mari in Pra’ Palmaro, also known as Villa delle Orsoline, is a patrician villa built by the Pinelli family in the 16th century; in 1580 the Villa was renovated for the first time, which added a small tower to the original building, still visible today.

The aim of this project is to rebuild a significant section of the historical part of the villa and renovate certain areas of the public garden, which require maintenance, in order to ensure the full functionality of the complex.

The additional new spaces available to the people and the new co-housing accommodations will strengthen the sense of community, helping to establish Villa de Mari as multi-purpose center.

The villa aims to be a gathering place for communities of the valley and the hill , open to people of all ages and able to make stronger the role of present associations.
